The information contained within the various sections of this page are more specific to permanent contract teachers.  Those in a Long Term Occasional position may have different rules or policies that may apply (ie. benefits).  

Also, some of the information on this page may become dated due to contract negotiations, changes in personnel or changes in policies.

OTIP is offers a one-day retirement planning workshop, Walk Into Retirement With A Plan,  that provides a comprehensive approach to retirement planning including such topics as:Image

  • Financial Planning 

 Exclusive to this workshop is OTIP's Enhanced Lifestyle Planner Questionnaire and the subsequent report that are used to consolidate thoughts and expectations for retirement, set realistic goals and explore the multitude of lifestyle options that are available to educators once they retire.
